3rd Eye Activation

“What a yogi is trying to do is to expand the field in which you can perceive. It’s not a mystical luxury as much as it is a evolutionary necessity. As long as I’m increasing that frequency of perception then I’m also increasing my ability to stay happy with increasing amounts of stress, I’m also increasing my ability to stay centered within very chaotic experiences….So that’s the practicality of intuitive power.

When I have a problematic situation happening in my life, if I don’t have that intuitive psyche activated inside, the ability to navigate that problem is going to be in a narrow bandwidth. The class opens with Jai Dev giving teachings on the art and science of intuition. He approaches intuition from the practical angle of gaining a wider scope of one’s life and its value in overcoming adversity. After some powerful warm ups and energizing kriyas, you’ll practice the meditation to ‘see the unseen’. It will change your metabolism, it will change how the fire operates with in you. You’ll tune up your glandular system. “You will see the unseen, a little bit, you will know the unknown, a little bit, and you will want to do more.”

Important Guidelines: Any person with a known medical condition should always consult their physician before engaging in yoga practice. Women who are menstruating (on the first 3 days of the cycle) or are pregnant should avoid breath of fire and other exercises that powerfully engage the naval center like Sat Kriya. Inverted poses where the legs are lifted higher than the naval point should also be avoided. Long deep breathing can be done in the place of breath of fire. Resting in child’s pose or savasana, during poses like stretch pose, is also encouraged.
